How shall I submit my Nomination?

To submit your Nomination, visit https://global.asdfawards.com for finding the right category of award. There you can find a button for Nomination, click on that fill-in the form. After this, keep an eye on your email. The notifications will be further communicated with email.

How much money will I get if I am the winner?

We at ASDF are not organizing this Awards Ceremony like an Olympic Race or Gambling. These Awards are an exclusively non-monetary award for recognizing the best of the better in the various areas in micro-level.

Is there any nomination fee?

No. There is no nomination fee until Phase IV. For the all finalist entering Phase V, there is a fee of $1 or £1.

Is there any possibility for my nomination to be disqualified?

Yes, obviously. We mostly don't turn down or disqualify a nomination too quickly. But at some instances like non-conformance or failing to provide the particulars will lead to disqualification. At this stage, there will be no further escalation.

Should I pay for dinner or any others on the day of the ceremony?

Lunch/Dinner will be provided for the nominee, for additional persons you should register online as per the actuals. The Biography Book will be charged as per the actual charges.

When this jury will visit? What are the requirements?

ASDF Awards Committee juries will visit every finalist nominee and institute during the weekday from morning 9 AM to 4 PM. The Individual / Institute should be well prepared with the documentation support enhancing the juries to verify the documents. ASDF Awards Team will arrange Accommodation, Travel and Dining, and the nominee post-verification can reimburse the same. During the pandemic situation, we are performing only tele verification.

What if I have suggestions for other categories or ideas?

We would appreciate your feedback and encourage you to send us your ideas and comments via e-mail to awards @ asdf.res.in so we can have a written record and be able to assess suggestions at the end of the awards period. This year awards program has developed as a result of the ideas we received from numerous people.

What are the Extras?

The Nominee Fee is GBP 1. Extras like Biography Book with a unique ISBN, Additional Guests (Family/Colleagues/Friends) may be charged as per the actuals.

I cannot attend the event; Can I request for the mailing of shield and others?

NO. We don't encourage in-absentia Awards. On rare occasions, at the last phase if you have made all the travel and unable to attend due to medical or any emergency, please do email us before 3 days of the event.

Can I include some promotional materials for favourable consideration?

Yes. Any additional items including promotional materials of the kind brochure, annual reports, past recognitions will be considered as supporting content in Phase II of the selection.

Can I nominate for more than one award?

Yes. You can nominate yourself for more than one award, provided that you cannot take more than one award, you need to dedicate the rest of them to fellow members.

When will the awards ceremony take place?

On 30th December the Global Awards Ceremony will happen.

I/we wish to sponsor this awards ceremony, can I nominate?

No. As a policy, we don't accept the nominations from Sponsors.

Am not having ASDF membership number. Where can I get that?

If you are already an ASDF member, check for the same at Membership Status. For institute members, please check for the same in the bottom of the Chapter Certificate. If you aren't having the membership check it out at www.myasdf.us and apply for one.

What will it happen if I provide false information?

The answer is straightforward; your application will be rejected and will be recommended for legal action or penalized equivalent for the verification expenses. Also, we will include your name in the undeserving nominees list.

How the winners are recognized?

Winners will be called up for the Awards Ceremony which is happening on 30th December to receive the awards from the dignitaries. This includes a Plaque, Certificate and Pin.

Is campus visit mandatory for all the nominees?

No, we don't visit the campus for all the nominees. Only for very few cases, we do visit the campus to ascertain the eligibility.

Should I pay for Biography or Photographs or Videography?

Short Answer is NO. Long Answer, it is optional. If you have all of them in the standard requirement format, you need not pay anything.

Why should I reimburse the campus visit fee or telephonic verification fee?

The Experts visit your campus or make a telephonic interview with you after which you may be sent an invoice. This has two outcomes, i) We will be able to validate that the expert member(s) visited your campus or conducted an interview. ii) Basic costs will be covered. Any value over $100 will be borne by ASDF HQ on the sight of reducing the burden for the nominees.

Am the principal of an institute, both my institute and myself have nominated. If both are selected what will be the case?

To be more specific in this regard, anyone award you can receive on the Ceremony. You can nominate your fellow staff for winning the Institute Awards.
